Jena Stucky
6th Grade Crew Teacher
Meet Ms. Jena!
My name is Jena Stucky and I am overjoyed to be joining the Crew at REMS. I am passionate about helping children discover who they are and grow a love for learning. I am thankful for the opportunity to call REMS family and home.
Originally from the beautiful Florida panhandle, I am an educator of over 20 years serving in both Florida and Colorado schools. I have Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. Currently, I am in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught all grades K-7th with a primary focus on 3-6.
I have been married to Matthew for 28 years and we have three children. Anna has a degree in International Business and she spent the last year in the Basque region of Spain where she taught English to elementary students. Claire is a senior at the University of Iowa where she is pursuing a degree in medical anthropology in hopes of continuing on to medical school. Adrian is a sophomore at Arapahoe Community College where he studies business.
When I am not teaching children or researching for my Master’s Degree, you will find me cooking, eating, hiking, backpacking, doing crossfit, and spending time with family and friends. I am humbled to be a part of the REMS community and I joyfully anticipate the journey that lies ahead.
