Leslie Tremayne
School Psychologist
Meet
Ms. Leslie
My name is Leslie Tremayne and I have been a School Psychologist with Douglas County School District since the 2008-2009 school year. This is my first year with Renaissance Elementary Magnet and I'm excited to be here.
After graduating from The Ohio State University, I promptly moved to Denver, Colorado in 1985 to seek my fortune and also to live near the great Rocky Mountains! Later I completed my graduate school program in School Psychology at the University of Colorado-Denver in 1992. During the 2011-2012 school year I completed an intensive post-graduate program and obtained a Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychologists. More recently, I obtained certification in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education at Regis University in 2019.
My primary role is completing assessments for students who may require special education services. As I tell students when I'm working with them, "I work with students to see how they learn best and then I work with their teachers to help them teach their students!" I'm looking forward to supporting the students and staff at Renaissance!
