Lisa Jackson

Assistant Principal

Meet

Ms. Lisa

My name is Lisa Jackson and I love being the Assistant Principal at REMS!   Before coming to REMS, I started my journey as a middle school teacher, spent several years teaching 5th and 6th grade in an elementary school and then was an instructional coach in two different schools focused on STEM, Crew and Expeditionary Learning.

I am a Colorado native and love the mountains and all that Colorado has to offer. I love getting into the outdoors, and try to get as much time on the lake in my kayak as possible.  Traveling is a passion and I am always up for a good adventure, a good book, or a good chat with a friend.

I am passionate about my work at REMS as Adventure and Expeditionary Learning are two of my greatest loves. I believe deeply in authentic learning for students and in the power of Crew as it transforms us as people and as a community.  Most importantly, I love to laugh and try my best to find the fun and joy in what I do each day.  I count myself as lucky to serve the needs of students, staff, and our community and am looking forward to an amazing school year!
