Mr. Doug

Physical activity is a necessity to be a healthy, happy human.  Furthermore, physical activity promotes creative, critical and systems thinking.

Students in Renaissance PE classes use physical skill acquisition as a foundation which translates into an understanding and application of what it takes to be successful in all aspects of life.  Success is measured by doing everything you can today to be better tomorrow.

Perseverance, grit, hard work, courage, sportspersonship wholeheartedness, seeking and application of feedback are all cornerstones of Renaissance Physical Education.

Fundamental motor skills, throwing, catching, locomotor patterns, kicking are taught and practiced in parts and applied in games.

Archery, climbing, sport stacking, badminton, pickleball, circus arts, are a few of the dynamic and complex motor skills that challenge learners to persevere through adversity to be successful.
